This week's challenge was simply to only use one piece of patterned paper.
I have used the Sugar Nellie Chef Hamish stamp and coloured it in using Pro Markers. This was then cut and mounted using Nestabilities. The patterned paper is from the DCWV Sweet paper stack. I have threaded a ribbon through the stamped image and added a few gems. The sentiment stamp is from Hero Arts.
This is the layout that the lovely Alli taught us how to do at the weekend retreat. Not sure if it has a name for the technique?
You use two sheets of 12x12 card and then with some clever folding and cutting, you can make it into 4 layouts. It is a bit like a never ending card, it just keeps unfolding. Zoe loved it.
The papers are from My Minds Eye Magnolia range and I have used some Thickers and some Magic Motifs snowflakes.
Front page: It opens in the middle vertically to reveal... This page opens in the middle horizontally to reveal... And again this page opens in the middle vertically...
I love American Craft Thickers and these gorgeous pink chipboard Roller Rink letters have got to be my favourites. So they are so pink and so glittery!!!!
Here is my card for the third challenge over on The Sugar Bowl. The theme was Love and Valentine.
I have used the True Love Leanne Ellis stamp coloured with Pro Markers and a Sakura glitter pen. The papers are from the DCWV Sweet paper pack. The greetings stamp is from Hero Arts and I have added some ribbon, metal ribbon sliders and flowers with buttons in the middle.
This is a cheat for a photo today as I am feeling grotty with a cold and just cannot summons up the energy to take a photo. So I am using a photo of Zoe in the snow from last week.
