The fascination with Hama beads continues. Our windows are full of them.

From being a naughty and grumpy child, Zoe seems to be turning a corner a bit. I am selecting what is worth battling over and what I will let go. I have ressurrected her Good Girl chart. 10 stickers for being good and she gets a treat of her choice.

Zoe's behaviour seems to be at an all time low at the moment. She was meant to be having a sleepover at her best friend's but I threatened her that she couldn't go if she didn't start behaving. Unfortunately, she carried on being really naughty and so now she isn't going.

I thought my days of homework were over but no! Now I am helping Zoe with her phonics and how to write her letters properly. She has a scrapbook that she had to complete each day with the letter she has been learning at school that day.

Zoe has been playing with Hama beads at her after school club and today she got a house point at school for helping her friend who had hurt herself after falling over and as a treat I brought her some of her own Hama beads. So this afternoon, we made a bunny rabbit and a flower and she wants to give them to her best friend Edith and her little sister Darcey.

We decided that it was time for Zoe to learn how to ride her bike without the stabilisers. So off we went down to Poole Park to have a go. It was back breaking holding on to her bike. She didn't get it and she was getting very frustrated so we gave up after a while and decided to practice some more next weekend.
Zoe was really tired this morning and was almost asleep whilst eating her breakfast

Zoe started dance lessons today. She had a ballet lesson first and then had a tap modern lesson afterwards. She seemed to enjoy both lessons. Luckily her older friend Eva has outgrown all her shoes and so has passed them down to Zoe.

Bit late posting this, but I did this layout for the weekly challenge over on UK Scrappers and I am also entering it for the A Trip Down Memory Lane September Sketch challenge which can be found here
The UKS challenge was set by The Indecisives and we were given 3 options. I went for option 1 which was:
- a mono layout for 10 points
- a minimum of 3 photos for 10 points
- use a stamped image for 5 points
- use journalling round the edge of the photo montage for 5 points.

Zoe was assigned to a house at school. Whilst walking home, I was telling her that she is in the green house and she said "No Mummy, I should be in the Yellow house!" And when I asked why, she said "Because our house is yellow!" So then I had to explain the house system at school as opposed to the colour of her home.

Whilst at the Steam Fair we had to go to the fair ground several times a day to keep Zoe happy. She loved all the rides but the big wheel was her favourite. This wheel was 35m high. She wasn't a bit scared! Not like me - I was petrified!

It is that time of year again when Shimelle runs her fab September course. This is my 3rd year of doing it and I think I am going to do it digi. This year is slightly different to previous years for me as I am going to do it from the point of view of my 4 year old daughter, Zoe, who starts "big" school tomorrow. She is going to be learning a lot in the few months so it fits beautifully with this project. So this is going to be Zoe's journey.
I have bought a fab new digi kit called Back To School - The Collection which is a collaboration between Melissa Wilson and Mari Koegelenberg from the Digi Chick store.
I am still not convinced that I want to do this project in digi but the school stash I have ordered has not turned up yet.
Here is my front cover:
