Zoe has a party at school today and we had to take food in for it. When I opened the fridge this morning, this is how we found Alfie...

Alfie the Elf on the Shelf - Day 17
Wow what an exhausting weekend!
We woke this morning to find Alfie wearing Zoe's new party dress that she will wear to school on Thursday for their Christmas party. It suits him, don't you think?

Alfie the Elf on the Shelf - Day 16
Zoe's birthday party was a great success and she won the go-karting competition and received a trophy, medal and a certificate. She had a good bounty of presents to from her friends. We got back late and I left all the presents in a black bag in the kitchen. However when we got up, Alfie had got them all out and piled them on the kitchen table and was sat on top holding Zoe's medal.
Alfie the Elf on the Shelf - Day 15
It was Zoe's birthday party on the Saturday and I spent Friday evening doing the party bags. In the morning we found Alfie having a rustle through the bags. Good job we saw him, otherwise he may have been given another little child in their party bag.

Alfie the Elf on the Shelf - Day 14
We managed to put the tree up last night and Alfie found his girlfriend from last year. Poor thing had been packed away in a cold loft. Alfie decided to warm her up by cuddling up with her at the top of the tree!

Alfie the Elf on the Shelf - Day 13
Ali from work leant me the Elf DVD to watch with Zoe, but it seems Alfie couldn't wait until the weekend and tried to put into the DVD player himself. Trouble is he can only reach the Sky box!

Alfie the Elf on the Shelf Day 12
This morning we found Alfie tucking into Zoe's lunch box. He had eaten her Hula Hoops and several coins from her advent calendar. And all she says is that he is a cheeky little monkey!

Alfie the Elf on the Shelf - Day 11
Alfie is getting as impatient as I am to get the tree up. This morning we found him dangling from the loft hatch with baubles hanging off him and scattered all over the floor. He was obviously trying to get the decorations down from the loft - dropping a big hint to James!

Alfie the Elf on the Shelf - Day 10
Alfie is working his way through Zoe's toys and this morning we found him playing Moshi Monsters Top Trumps with Father Christmas. I wonder who is winning?

Alfie the Elf on the Shelf - Day 9
Alfie managed to carry the big box of train track down the stairs and into the lounge last night. He then built himself a little track to play on!

Alfie the Elf on the Shelf - Day 8
Alfie decided that he needed to check out the chimney to see if it is ok for Father Christmas to come down on Christmas Eve. He is just abseiling back down.

Alfie the Elf on the Shelf - Day 7
Alfie seems to think he is a gnome now and decided to go fishing in the fish tank. Luckily he didn't catch anything!

Alfie the Elf on the Shelf - Day 6
This little fella has gone too far this time. He has been watching Zoe doing her Hama beads and decided that he would have a go too. I don't mind that at all and he has made a really cute Santa. What I am cross about is that this pot holds 9000 hama beads and it was full to the top and he has managed to scatter them everywhere! If only I could make HIM pick them all up again!

Alfie the Elf on the Shelf - Day 5 update
Ali and I were bopping away doing our Zumba exercise class when Zoe spotted Alfie hiding in Ali's handbag. I have absolutely no idea how he got there - but then I suppose he is magic!!!! Luckily he didn't try out any routines!!! Zoe was totally gobsmacked to see him there!
Alfie the Elf on the Shelf - Day 5
Last night Alfie decided to become the teacher and set up a classroom for the Moshi Monsters.
They are very well behaved little monsters - all sat so nicely listening to teacher!

Alfie the Elf on the Shelf - Day 4
Is it the end of December yet? This little elf is one naughty boy! He threw all the knickers and socks out of Zoe's underwear drawer!
Alfie the Elf on the Shelf - Day 3
James and his Dad spent all of Sunday wallpapering the lounge and overnight Alfie managed to find some leftover paper and wallpapered the bedroom of Zoe's Doll's House and then snuggled down to sleep in the bed.

Alfie the Elf on the Shelf - Day Two
I can see little fella is going to be trouble this year!
It seems that he has been practising his writing skills in the last 365 days!
This is what we came down to this morning!

Alfie The Elf on the Shelf - Day One
Well the 1st December sees Alfie returning for the second year.
This morning we came downstairs to see that he had helped himself to Zoe's paintbrushes and some of the emulsion that we had been decorating with, to leave Zoe a message.
Luckily he left his graffiti on the wall that is going to be wallpapered!
She was so excited to see him!

Bert the Bearded Dragon
We have really agonised over whether to get a Bearded Dragon and we succumbed a couple of weeks ago. He is a Florida Orange male and about 4-5 months old. I would say he is about 10 inches long. He will reach about 22 inches when he is fully grown. He is so fab!!! These photos don't really do him justice colourwise! He is rally quite orange!
This is Bert eating some mealworms!
This photo shows him off a bit better!
I took this one today! Isn't he cute?

BHF 66 Mile Bike Ride
Today I rode 66 miles in 4 hours 43 minutes and raised £666.20 for the British Heart Foundation. I am so chuffed with myself as I rode it an hour quicker than I thought I would. Poor James didn't have the best of Fathers Day's as he was on photography duty and was driving around trying to get some piccies.
At the start of the day. The sun was shining and I was feeling very apprehensive as I have never taken part in a bike ride like this before.
I met up with Andy Petty and his friend Ben!
This is coming out of Holt just before going over the cattle grid! Don't look at my fat middle!
Not sure where this was - bit blurry! Must have been going so fast!
I did most of the second half of the ride with Andy and Ben, although we did lose Ben just after Witchampton!
And here is me at the end with my medal! I got really emotional as I went over the line. I was so pleased with my pace and my ride time. Two weeks is the Macmillan ride which is 60 miles.
I also thought I would post up a photo of Zoe who lost both her top front teeth on Tuesday.
