"Appreciation...acknowledges the presence of good wherever you shine the light of your thankful thoughts” - Alan Cohen; author
I think it is always important to show your appreciation of something that someone has done for you. I always think that if someone knows how much you appreciate their help, then you won’t feel bad about asking for their help in the future and they will be happy to help you again. My mother-in-law has helped us lots over the years with looking after the dog etc and I would always buy her flowers or a little gift to show that we are very grateful to her for helping us out. I am teaching Zoe to say her please and thank yous and it is becoming second nature to her already.

Lovely journalling and photo Claire.
Lovely thoughtful journalling! and another lovely photo of Zoe.
I love it when young children can come out with yes please or no thank you on their own with no prompting:)
Cute pic! Great journalling too!
Such a sweet photo of Zoe and such a good habit to get into early
A lovely ethic - manners and thanks are getting so rare in this world so Zoe will have yet another sparkle to her growing beauty
