Day 314 - Sunday 9th November

Today is Remembrance Sunday here in the UK. A time to remember all those lost in wars over theyears. We show our respect by wearing a red poppy, and 2 minutes silence at 11am.

Take time today to remember someone, something important.

Three years ago tomorrow, we had to have our beautiful little dog Ben put to sleep as he was diagnosed with cancer of the pancreas. Although we could have prolonged his life with various drugs and operations, we made the decision to have him put to sleep. It was one of the hardest decisions I have ever had to make but I believe that I did the right thing for him as I couldn’t bear to put him through any unnecessary pain or suffering. I still miss him every day!
