We have had such miserable weather so far this year that the last few days of sunshine have been lovely, even if I have been stuck at work. Today, however, is my day off and although it was cloudy this morning, now the sun is shining. I have caught up on all the household chores and now have the rest of the day to do other things. I am sat here with all the windows wide open, a light breeze coming in with the sound of distant lawnmowers – truly a summers day.
I can’t say I woke up singing this morning. Slept on the sofa again because as soon as I lay down I start coughing. I gave up trying to sleep and did some embossing for Tina’s wedding invites. I had my physio appointment this morning and she poked and prodded me so much that I don’t really feel like taking to the sky today. I am going to take a leisurely stroll to the shops with Zoë on her trike to get some milk etc.

Try eating a spoonful of honey 2-3 times a day for your throat..natures medicine but one of the best;)
