Day 87 - Thursday 27th March

“A habit cannot be tossed out the window; it must be coaxed down the stairs a step at a time” - Mark Twain - humorist, lecturer, author

Let’s look at our habits, the good and the bad!

When someone mentions the word habits, I automatically think of the bad habits rather than the good ones. I am not sure that I have too many bad habits – certainly not the conventional ones. I don’t bite my nails (I am proud of my hand and nails), I don’t smoke (tried it but didn’t like it) and I don’t really drink (don’t get a chance to go out since I had Zoë and don’t like to drink at home). I know I could eat better and exercise more don’t seem to get the chance to do either.
I think my worst habit is thinking I need something, going out and buying it impulsively and then not using it – at least for a while. A prime example of this is my Bind It All machine. I was on UK Scrappers and was reading a thread about it. From this I decided that I definitely NEEDED one and so went straight out and bought one even though I couldn’t really afford it!!!. However it sat in it’s box unopened for at least a month and even now I have only used it once and not to make a mini book or anything but just to punch some holes in some card to make it look like a photographic negative.
Even though I know I do this, I can’t seem to stop it. I have numerous impulse buys that rarely get used and the majority of them are craft related.

Love it, aren't we all guilty of this at one time or another!

Love the photo Claire and be good and get it out and use it!
I am sure if you did you would have lots of fun.
Having said that, impulse buying at the Ideal Home Exhibition is something I have done everytime I have gone there. My buy is the charity shops gain LOL

I remember you buying it and I wanted to say" don't" but you wouldn't have listened and of course it was none of my business:) and really isn't a very bad habit and like all of us know you are doing it! Call it impulse shopping !
