Day 63 - Monday 3rd March

"One day at a time, this is enough. Live in the present and make it so beautiful that it will be worth remembering" - Ida Scott Taylor

Record with a photo the memory of one thing that bought Joy to your day. Journal why this memory was so precious.

Well after yesterday’s miserable day and the minor argument that James and I had about various things, I got home to a very different sight. I was late home due to stupid traffic lights just down the road from the nursery. On the way home I phoned to say I was going to be late and he asked what he should cook for tea.
When I did get home, he had already started cooking tea, he had washed up and most unheard of, he was making the sandwiches. This meant that I didn’t have to do all my usual jobs and I just had to serve up dinner when it was ready. This was such a help as I wanted to sit down tonight with Zoë and make a card for Grandad for his birthday on Wednesday.
So after dinner, James went off and deep-cleaned the oven– he really must be feeling guilty. I sat down with Zoë and got all her crafting things out and made a card. We got in a right old mess and got glue and glitter everywhere. She wanted to stick a bit of everything onto the card and I had to stop her from putting hundreds of big fat pom poms on it. I am not sure how I will get it into an envelope.

That is an impressive card by anyone's standards, well done Zoe, Grandad will love it I am sure.

Lovely photos Claire, great to have in the future when she is head of Graphic Design at a big Multi-national one day.
