This entry is all about how Christmas has changed over the years. I have cheated a bit and looked at how Christmas is now and how it might be in the future.
My journalling reads:
"Christmas is brilliant once you have kids.
When it was just James and I, we used to get up and get the turkey cooking and then exchange presents and the rest of the day would be cooking, eating and relaxing.
But now it is totally different.
And each year will change as Zoƫ gets older and gets excited to see what Father Christmas brings her.
This year is the first year she really understands the whole concept of Father Christmas and I cannot wait to see her face when she opens her presents.
For the last two years she has been more interested in the wrapping paper – but it won’t be like that this year – most definitely NOT!!!!"
