Day 360 - Thursday 25th December

"Chestnuts roasting on an open fire, Jack Frost nipping on your nose, Yuletide carols being sung by a choir, And folks dressed up like Eskimos. Everybody knows a turkey and some mistletoe, Help to make the season bright. Tiny tots with their eyes all aglow, Will find it hard to sleep tonight. They know that Santa's on his way; He's loaded lots of toys and goodies on his sleigh. And every mother's child is going to spy, To see if reindeer really know how to fly."And so I'm offering this simple phrase, To kids from one to ninety-two, Although its been said many times, many ways, A very Merry Christmas to you."

Well what a fantastic day we had. We went to James’ mum’s house for the day. We opened Zoë’s presents at home first. Zoë had forgotten all about having a hoover and she loved it. She hovered the whole house.
We had a lovely lunch with lots to eat. After the mammoth tidy up, we opened presents and then relaxed for the rest of the day. Zoë was given some Snap cards which we tried to teach her how to play – it was a bit slow going. Then James and I had a game but we had to stop and have a trifle break as it was beginning to get a bit violent – of course I won.
The only sad thing is that the day is a lot of excitement and preparation and then whizzes by so quickly.
Roll on next year!!!
