My Way
"And now, the end is near;
And so I face the final curtain.
My friend, I'll say it clear,Ill state my case, of which Im certain.
I've lived a life thats full.
I've traveled each and every highway;
And more, much more than this,
I did it my way.
Regrets, I've had a few;
But then again, too few to mention.
I did what I had to do
And saw it through without exemption.
I planned each charted course;
Each careful step along the byway,
But more, much more than this,
I did it my way.
Yes, there were times,
I'm sure you knew
When I bit off more than I could chew.
But through it all, when there was doubt,
I ate it up and spit it out.
I faced it all and I stood tall;
And did it my way.
I've loved,
I've laughed and cried.
I've had my fill;
my share of losing.
And now, as tears subside,
I find it all so amusing.
To think I did all that;
And may I say - not in a shy way,
No, oh no not me,
I did it my way.
For what is a man, what has he got?
If not himself, then he has naught.
To say the things he truly feels;
And not the words of one who kneels.
The record shows I took the blows -
And did it my way!"

Well this is the last day of this challenge and I have certainly done it my way. It was meant to be self portraits but when I look back, there aren't many of those.
I have made some fantastic friends along the way who I hope will remain life long friends.
I have lost over a stone in weight - thanks to the inspiration of Kay and Lynne on UK Scrappers.
I have started a troll bead addiction - thanks to the inspiration of Kay and Lynne on UK Scrappers - oh and Sarah who is the queen of the troll beads.
I have started scrapboooking - which I still don't totally love -but when I have such a great subject of Zoe, it is wonderful to capture those moments with more than just a photo stuffed into an album.
So what will next year bring? Who knows for certain, but I have a lot of crafting stash to use up so I had better continue on with scrapping. I want to make some mini books and will look for a new challenge to start this year too - I do have something in mind.
Anna is also going to be doing a new challenge called "A Snapshot of my Life" - look out for details on her 365 blog over the next few weeks.
Well that is enough from me - just a photo required.
This photo was my first photo of this challenge
and so I thought I would use a similar one - it was taken on the 18th December on Zoe's birthday.
