Journal Your Christmas - 3rd December

Today, Shimelle's prompt was all about Christmas post. I found some images of the new Christmas stamps for 2008 which I have printed out and cut round using patterned scissors and then I journalled a letter to myself about the stamps and latest postage dates.
The letter reads:

Dear ...
Have you seen the latest Christmas stamps from the Royal Mail for 2008? The new stamps are based on a pantomime theme. There is Aladdin’s Genie on the first class stamp and the Ugly Sisters on the second class stamp. The two higher price stamps are Wicked Queen on the 81 pence stamp and Captain Hook on the 50p stamp. The latest posting date for first class letters is 20th December and second class is 18th December 2008.
Hope any cards I post reach the recipient safely and in one piece as I have spent many hours making my own Christmas cards this year – all individual in design and style. I must start making them earlier next year - but then I say that every year.
Lots of Love
Claire

Very sweet! I haven't had a chance to see the stamps properly before.

I think you should keep this -- the prompts are just a jumping-off point and this is an interesting LO that it will be good to look back on in future.

I think this is a great idea Claire and agree with Leah. Remember it is your journal and this page will be really interesting for Zoe in the future.
Shimelle says there is no right or wrong way just your way.

I think it is great Claire. If you do it again next year you can always do cards then or there may be a day with a prompt you don't fancy and then you could more on your cards for that day.
